Who we are

About Our Church

Bethel Baptist Church is a member of the Jamaica Baptist Union. We believe in a ministry to the whole person. As such, the church seeks to meet the spiritual, social, and physical needs of members and the wider community.

The church’s mission is guided by Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”.  This is achieved through various mission and outreach ministries.

Meet Our Pastors

Our leadership team works together to achieve the mission to which God has called us.

Rev. Dr. Glenroy Lalor is the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church and provides teaching, leadership, and guidance for the church as a whole. Rev. Lalor is married to  Sharon Lalor, and they have one son.
Rev. Lalor is a member of the Jamaica Baptist Union (JBU) Executive and has been a Member of the Standing Commission of the World Council of Churches Commission on Faith and Order. 
 
Rev. Norman Mills is Pastoral Assistant, to the Bethel Baptist Church with direct pastoral responsibility for the Mount View Baptist Church, Norman Gardens, Kingston 2.
He is married to attorney at law Gloria Brown, an active member and leader of the Sligoville Circuit of Baptist Churches. Rev. Mills has two daughters and a son.
