Our Pastors

Rev. Dr. Glenroy Lalor

Rev. Dr. Glenroy Lalor, started his career graduating from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Social Studies. He later went on to obtain a Diploma in Ministerial Studies at the United Theological College of the West Indies, followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theological Studies at the University of the West Indies. In 2009 Rev. Lalor was awarded a Doctorate in Theology from the University of the West Indies.

Rev. Lalor has been a member of the Jamaica Baptist Union (JBU) Executive for over twenty (20) years, served on the Baptist World Alliance Doctrine Commission since 2015, and has been a Member of the Standing Commission of the World Council of Churches Commission on Faith and Order since 2007. 

Rev. Lalor is married Dr. Sharon Lalor, and they have one son Dominic.

Rev. Norman Mills

Rev. Norman Mills is Pastoral Assistant, to the Bethel Baptist Church with direct pastoral responsibility for the Mount View Baptist Church, Norman Gardens, Kingston 2. In December 2017, the Mount View Baptist Church became a full-fledged church falling under the Jamaica Baptist Union umbrella.

Prior to assuming the role of Pastoral Assistant at Bethel Baptist Church, Reverend Norman Mills was the pastor of The Annotto Bay Circuit of Baptist Churches in Saint Mary from 1989 until 1993. He also served as Pastor for the Edgewater and Waterford Baptist Churches in Saint Catherine from 1993 – 2000.
Chair of the Christian Education Department at the Jamaica Baptist Union from 1995 – 1997 and General Secretary of the Jamaica Council of Churches between 1997 and 2000 Rev. Mills is also a lawyer who was called to the bar in October 2005.
Married to Ms. Gloria Brown, an active member and leader of the Sligoville Circuit of Baptist Churches, Rev. Mills has two (2) daughters and a son.
